Fall 2026 Makeup Trends: Lips, Natural-Looking Skin and Defined Lashes

Allure’s fall 2026 report highlights several makeup directions: emphasize one feature, keep skin lightweight and make lashes expressive.

Allure’s September 3, 2026 fall report focuses on emphasizing one facial feature. Bold or berry lips, lightweight natural-looking skin, neutral shadows and defined lashes are among the artists’ suggestions quoted in the report.

One focal point, not everything at once

The report’s central idea is that bold lips can be paired with lighter makeup elsewhere; or, when lashes and eyeshadow stand out, other features can play a supporting role. This makes trends easier to adapt to everyday life rather than copy in full.

Berry and deep red shades are suggested for lips. For skin, the report points to light coverage and a dewy finish; for eyes, neutral shadows and shaped lashes.

What do these trends mean for permanent makeup services?

Seasonal lipstick or eyeshadow is easy to change; lash-line enhancement or lip shading is a longer-lasting decision. Trends can inspire daily makeup, but permanent makeup intensity and color should reflect facial features, natural coloring and the client’s usual style.

This report covers runways and makeup artists’ views; it does not provide data on demand among Shiraz clients. A global trend is not a definite prediction of what everyone will choose in fall.
